Conference 2020: Activities for Grades K-12

Volunteers have worked hard to provide some opportunities during our Virtual Conference Week for students from grades K-12.

**We are recommending that parents/guardians approve of their students’ participation in any of these events. Due to the special nature of these events, we are assuming that if a student is participating that they have their parent/guardian’s approval.**

If you have any questions about any of these opportunities, you may contact the activity leader or the Conferences Coordinator

For students completing grades K-5:
KidCon: To Mars and Beyond (via Facebook Groups) (for parents to share with their children)
Date(s): July 27-31
Leader: Elianna McHenry

In this group, you will find a wide array of content to help your kiddos experience Children’s Conference even if we can’t be together in person! There will be ideas for crafts, games, snacks, and a lesson for each day. Join us for the main event during Virtual Conference Week 2020 @ To Mars and Beyond.

For students completing grades 6-8:
MidCon: Focusing on Jesus (via Discord) (parents welcome)
Date(s): July 27-31
Leader: Michaella Osborn

This year for MidCon we’re going to be talking about focusing on Jesus! Follow the link to sign up for our Discord channel where we will be interacting and discussing with video lessons! Can’t wait to focus on Jesus with all of you!

For students completing grades 9-12:
Youth Summer Virtual Bash (via Zoom)
Date(s): July 26 @ 7pm Eastern [EVENT COMPLETED]
Leader: Debbie Bond

We know that you might be “Zoomed” out but join us on Sunday, July 26 to meet up with your SDB friends from all over the country. This will be a great time to catch up, play some games, and maybe learn a little something.

We take the safety of children/minors seriously. Leaders of our activities for grades K-12 have been vetted according to the Child Protection Policy of the SDB General Conference. If you have questions about this policy or want to report something, please contact our Crisis Management Officer.
