Statement of Belief Vote, 2017

At General Conference in 2016, the delegates voted to move forward with a possible change to the Seventh Day Baptist General Conference’s Statement of Belief.  The next step for this vote is for local churches to discuss the issue, as framed by the Conference, in preparation for a vote-by-church at this coming year’s General Conference sessions, at Azusa Pacific University, from July 23-29, 2017.

In an effort to aid churches with their preparation, the Conference mailed, the first week in January, a letter explaining the vote as well as a page answering questions we expect to arise as the discussions begin in local churches.  This letter will be arriving by certified mail and will require a signature from the recipient, to ensure that all the churches receive the material.
